Since when does line lock have to do with anything? All that means is the wheels are locked for easier burn out....no car has line lock unless you install it....just like you have to install a trans break to have a trans break...look up the Z06 on pump gas running in 8s on here it is red with stock block.....that is an auto transmission.

I have never seen an auto out of a stock GM (or any car for that matter) that has yet been tinkerd with or rebuilt or a line lock put in, beat a standard. also i really doubt they nutral droped it, becaus a stock ss does not have a line lock. Point is is both the mustang and the camaro both perform reasonably the same they cost about the same, for the same equipment relative to each company, both perform about the same both have huge aftermarket backgrounds, both do it all in very differnt ways

Hell Yeah, You are absolutely right. I'm with you. I know I have a messed up way of explaining myself in words. F.I. Car vs. NA Car. Not at all fair but the Ford boys cried so much when the '10 Camaro SS kicked hell out the 315HP Mustang GT. Camaro SS was meant to do battle with the GT while delayed Z28 would eventually kick hell out of the GT500. What I was trying to say was the new 2011 5.0 should not run sub 13's cause it will further hurt sales of the GT500. We are singing the same song.

The auto trans i would think is the faster time since i've always been treated well with fast ETA's with auto transmissions not as slow as most with only 180HP.

the drivers have a huge diffrence on those numbers. depending where you shift, where the car wants to be shifted, and every gear is diffrent. my car has a faster 0-60 when you shift at 4500 rather than 6200 or more. every engine makes power difrently, every trany will output the power diffrently, even if the rear gear ratio is the same, independant or solid axel will make a drifrence. limeted slip hom many shims, locker posi not in the cars but get what i meen. thers more than wheight and HP

@WhyNot632 Not picking sides, the mustang puts the power down better then the camaro, drive the fucking cars and see for yourselvs. The 300 lbs less will make it like about its 360hp est, compared to the camaro. generall in a rwd car you lose 20% hp by the time it hits the ground. atomatics are worse generally. that number is not always true. you may lose 3% or 30%, depending on designe.the mustang is designed better for what it has. HP IS NOT EVERYTHING, nor is torque
