Prepare for the future... if the oil lobby let! Remember it can run on renewal energy! Clean energy, from the wind, the water dams, solar plants, biomass, waves, etc...). Hand buy the way, if Tesla can sell has much as Porsche, the price comes down! So, start buying green tech! But is a very difficult task for TESLA, because of the battery problem (autonomy, space, weight)... but this is only the first serious electric car. So wait for the one that Posche will made and many other manufacturers!

Even the 2.5 is admittedly behind in tech compared to the Model S so stop using that flawed argument. As to your dumbass "3 mins at the pump" yea have fun at the pump paying up to 6 bucks a gallon (in US) versus the Model S which cost 5 dollars to cost 230 miles. @christmasdnc so the parts about strip-ming the earth to make batteries, and the source of electricity being coal - lets ignore those minor points and focus on the fact that it takes 5 hours to recharge the batteries whereas a normal car takes 3 minutes at the pump. Its range of 300 miles is based on optimum conditions and tests of the tesla roadster have shown its 200 mile claimed range to be BS. so the range will be shit and it takes too long to recharge. its a daft car
