x4 Generic Sata hard drives 250gb
Raid 0 = Computer uses all the hard drives at the same time and conbines the different hard dsks as a single fast hdrive
Note dispite the fact of having 4 hard drives the pc shows 1 tb hard drive

Same. Mine gets between 210-220 MB/s on average running on a Gigabyte board's on-board RAID controller. Drives are both 7400RPM 650GB SATA Western Digital Caviar Blacks.

is true , the speeds should be up to 300 mb but only if you have a external raid controller , my max speed with 4 hard drives was 260 mb

single 7200 rpm sata disk operates about 70 to 80mb per second, how ever you got 146 , that is no good , there must be something wrong. you should hit at least 220mb/s
