Good call genius. It's called "power to weight ratio". Given that the cars are close in weight, the extra 130 hp in the shitstang is going to make a huge difference. Despite higher cornering speeds, the BMW loses too much ground on the straights. Give the M3 even a close 30 hp disadvantage, and the Mustang would be RAPED at the road course.

and dude the 2010 shelby and mustangs are hideous campared to the 09 models, and the shelby gt500 is the mustang Supercar without going to the ford GT which is about the same as the Gt500 (a bit better of course)

@hyperlite341 Actually the HPE750R is not the competition for the HPE1000, but if you modded the GT500 with a race prep block same story the Camaro lose again. Case in point , go check out Evo- Performance GT500, when you talk about modded cars it's all about who write the biggest check. Stock to stock you can;t beat the GT500 or the Mustang GT 5.0. Oh i watched the battle of the Supercars 1000hp Camaro vs 1000hp GT500, well the Mustang ran away from the Camaro on the top end like it had rockets

I do. I drive a Dinan Stage 3 tuned BMW 135i. Might lose a close one at the strip to the Shitstang (best pass with the car is 12.8 on street tires) but I'd murder any GT500 at the road course. Ford = fail.

In the end, the Mustang is still a pile of garbage that can't corner to save it's life. Kudos to Ford for continuing to use the archaic live axle rear end found in the Rangers. Ford = fail. Sorry people, drag racing is fun but there's more to life than straight line performance. Not saying the Camaro is much better. The Mustang just sucks.

@93549john1 I dont think anyone is going to care whether its a race engine or a stock block, i know if it were me i wouldnt aslong as i knew that my HPE1000 gets good 1/4 mile times and destroys the competition. I have seen the 750R and it is pretty impressive, yet with a little more minor modification to the HPE camaro's it would give that mustang a run. Im not a genius, but when it comes to cars ive done my homework.

@93549john1 Yeah but Ford didn't give a crap about giving their customers more power when they easily could have. It wasn't until the triumphant return of the Camaro SS that Ford finally got off their ass and put a decent engine in the fucking Mustang so all you little fanboys could brag about having more horsepower than the Chevy, then missing 2nd gear and still losing to a slower car anyway, congratulations. Enjoy it while it lasts, the Z28 will be here soon...
