If you died right now are you 100% sure you'd go to Heaven?
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 22:27:42
@Echeque5 Of course it was a joke, I don't think my country is better than any other civilised country. Don't foget that the social security is for help people nothing else. For school, food, water, medicine etc etc. Look, how many for the university in United States ? In France ? Priceless. Knowledge shouldn't have a price.
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 22:22:32
@Echeque5 Nope, as you know France don't want an Iranian muslims govt (who apply the Charia...) with nuclear weapon like many other country. Thats why I talk about *World* War III. It will be the end of Israël.
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 22:17:09
@Echeque5 Im not lazy, my country is just better than yours lol ! France is the 5th economical power in this world then we are not so bad. The free capitalism is over, we got the best example since 2009 and the subprime crisis.
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 22:12:36
@c3rveja - So shall the world stand by and do nothing as Iran seeks and gets nuclear weapons? The world stood by and watched Adolf Hitler come to power and look what happened. History, learn from it or be bound to repeat it.
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 22:10:32
@c3rveja - Taxes pays for your social security. The problem with socialism is that there are people who are lazy and don't want to work, contribute, so they leach off of everyone else. It's not fair and it's not right.
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 21:48:53
@Echeque5 Actually you can't take this decision because its the "war against terror" ! There is a lot of people in Irak and really most of them are not terrorists ! I hope United States will not start a war against Iran because it will probabily be the 3rdWW. In 2001 it was a taleb dictatorship -friend of al Quaida- in Afghanistan so this war is totaly justified.
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 21:45:00
@Echeque5 You don't know what can i read about 9/11 etc. About "in your face USA:" and these guy are not terrorists supporter but they are upset to see the count of death in this war and also because they don't know what United States was come in Irak, for the most of them. And the results of this war are not a better thing for them (no nuclear weapon but a lot of oil). They don't care about Saddam and the terrorist that he was...
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 21:24:04
@Echeque5 Not really, the social security take the most (not all) of the price. And yes, I pay a little taxe (the state pay more) for me and other people who are sick when they need it. That the french socialism. But I don't pay the full price ! I know that stange for americans to pay for other people, but its a good thing after all, we are in the same country so why nope ? They pay for me, I pay for us.
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 21:10:25
@c3rveja -Medicine is not free. Someone is paying for it and it is paid for via taxes. Have no clue how much it might cost to have a broken leg taken care of, as I've never broken a leg. The American health care system is the best in the world, (or was until Obama-nation "health care" SCAM!), but it is the most costly and the cost should be the focus to correcting that problem, not throwing the baby out with the bathwater and destroying the finest medical system in the world.
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 21:03:47
@Echeque5 "You pay and you pay through the nose, in TAXES." Not at all for medicine. That's call social security. How many for a broken legs in United States ?
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 20:55:18
@c3rveja - Your English is fine. :) Yes, I am sure Obama-nation is liked all over the place, because he apologizes for America all over and appeases America's enemies. When one has to sacrifice the principals of good ethics and morals in order to be liked, that is never a good course to take. Leaders need to LEAD, not FOLLOW!
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 20:53:23
@c3rveja - Americans want to reduce the CONTROL that big government has on our way of life, schools, etc. In America, it is NOT the job of the federal government to control the states and the people, the schools, etc., as that is not freedom! It is also extremely expensive to fund a HUGE GOVERNMENT like that and it is not realistic. By the way, you have mail! :) One of America's greatest Presidents, Ronald Reagan, put it best - "We have a nation with a government, not the other way around!"
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 20:52:24
@Echeque5 Lol, that strange. In Europe we see Obama like a more "european president" in this case. That normal for me to see that, because I don't the people is really able to take some difficults decision. Of course they are always taken *for* the people. Sorry that difficult to say what I want in english...
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 20:51:16
@c3rveja - In my opinion, the war on terrorism is all around the globe and not in just one country or another. It is a war that freedom loving countries can't afford to lose, because if we do, our world is over, it's over. :(
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 20:49:36
@c3rveja - A person/nation fighting a good cause, (the war on terrorism), shouldn't be at all concerned with how much the terrorists and their supporters hate the nation fighting the good cause. Pres.Bush was a far better President than Obama-nation is or ever will be, but that's not saying much! lol An entire nation should *never* be hated OR loved because of merely ONE individual/President. To do so is very shallow thinking and I think rather childish I might add.
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 20:49:26
@Echeque5 It's the politic, all the same. I don't think that american's who wanted to reduce the investisments for school while the Bush administration..
By: c3rveja. on 29 Jul 10, 20:43:41
@Echeque5 I know, some american was upset to see the France refused to come in Irak. But I still don't what the matter with France-Irak-terrorism. Yes there was a lot of good reason to do this war, but not like that, with this excuse of "terrorism" and the "war against terror". The Afghanistan is the best example : 4000 frenchs soldier are here because we think its important and the real war against terror is here !
By: Echeque5. on 29 Jul 10, 20:42:34
@c3rveja - The government in America doesn't work with the President, (or in this case King Obama), demanding this or that and having their demands met. No, not at all. We have three branches of government in America; the Executive Branch, (the President), Congress and the Senate and between these three different parts of our government, they are supposed to *compromise* and work out their differences for the good of *all Americans*, not just *one man*, i.e. King Obama.Tyranny is 1 man rule!
